Who wants to be part of Raid Content Progression?

If you would like to be an active part of our ALK raiders, please respond with your character's name and class.

If you are a DPS class, post your DPS against both, the level 80 dummy and the level 80 Heroic dummies in stormwind.

If you are a Tank, post your DEF, Dodge, Parry, Block, Hit Points(unbuffed), and Armor rating.

If you are a Healer, post your spellpower, and mana pool.

If you think your gear and/or DPS isn't high enough, don't sweat it. We can look for gear upgrade drops and rewards and will help you work on an attack preference/chain to get the DPS where they need to be. For Healers, we have many some skilled healers and are friendly with other very good healers from other guild who can give you tips and advice. And for tanks, we have a couple skilled tanks who can likely help you get your agro control up to levels where you don't loose mobs, even to aggressive DPSers.

I want to stress that this isn't an exclusive club, anyone in ALK is welcome...as long as you understand that:

• A) You really need is to do your best to get your character's gear to Heroic and then to Raid levels. For L80 characters that means mainly blue items or better, at level 78 or better, look for gear that addresses your character's stat needs. For characters still leveling it means doing your best to work quest lines to get the right kind of gear for your goals, and running instances for gear and experience. The guild is here to help you with this.
• B) Increase your understanding of your character's attack chains and priorities(DPS), pulling and tanking techniques(Tanks), what types of heals to use in various situations(Healers). Mostly be open and understanding when you are given advice on what attacks to do before other attacks, or where it is best to stand to tank groups in certain instances. These are not criticisms, this is a helping hand so we all can do more and do better.
• C) Try to be available to run instances for gearing up guildies and refine group techniques during the days/times we agree on.

That's about it!

Remember that About Last Kight, is still mainly a friendly, mature, casual, leveling guild. Nothing has changed here. But as people level up, some want to advance into much more tricky instance and then into raid type content. With most leveling guilds, these people leave to go to a raiding guild. I would like to retain those dedicated and skilled players in ALK and help the guild as a whole with their presence, knowledge, and of course their ability to guide others in playing their class when asked.

I am up for anything pretty much. Normal work schedule normally allows me to be online after 6pm or so Pacific time. On days off I am in and out of the game pretty much all day. I'm currently working on increasing my armor rating and stamina so am in dire need of doing heroic instances for Emblems of Heroism.

DPS in Arms is just about 2k for normal L80 content and under, about 1600 for heroic, with a Hit rating of 270.
In PROT spec I have just under 25khp unbuffed, 541 DEF, block/parry/dodge are around 15%, and Hit rating is about 160.

I use the deep-wounds prot build to make sure I can maintain agro even against a boss that is getting aggressive dps and debuffs.
