While we are a mature guild, we are a lot of different people with different expectations. Adult topics are sometimes discussed, and '4-letter' words are sometimes used. This is fine within some sane limits...spamming cursing as an example is not something one would expect.

Spamming in general is not something that is respectful. There are addons that have chat outputs, this is not what I am talking about at all. Repeatedly asking for dungeon runs, or green items, or gold, or anything like it will result in you being asked to stop. Please stop.

There are two topics that are absolutely not to be talked about in open chat:

Politics -&- Religeon

Understand that I am not saying you should not talk about them, just not in open guild chat. Believing or not Believing has nothing to do with World Of Warcraft, nor does the political party you voted for or didn't vote for last election.

These are topics that are important to us all, but they are private matters that very often lead to bad feelings, and any guild chat on these subjects will result in a warning from officers, the one and only warning.

**Of course this does not cover discussing in-game politics. Horde/Alliance for example. Game lore is pertinent and enriching a part of the game.
